Hannah's future boyfriend!
Hannah had a play date on Friday night. Nicholas and Hannah have been friends now for a year. They have been in the same daycare. Everyday since Friday Hannah keeps telling us that Nicholas is coming over to play with her soon.

Grayden's First Trip to the Spray Park
We Have Ourselves a 2 Year Old
As you look through these pictures and see the mischief Darien has gotten into, please keep in mind that all of these pictures are from today and that I didn't get photographic evidence of everything.
Poor deprived kid doesn't have his own sandbox and had to create one for himself - out of a planter box.
Just like Connor, Darien seem sto have an aversion to clothes and quite frequently plays outside in only his diaper. Here he is completely filthy and eating rasberries that he picked himself. What you can't see in the pictures is the red marker on the back of his head where he coloured on himself earlier today.
Darien wanted to have a shower with Connor and it was sorely needed. He got his little hands on my shave gel - Connor called for me to come quick and this is what I found. I have a video too but am having problems uploading it.
While changing Grayden's diaper Darien thought it would be a great idea to brush his teeth. It was, but I don't think he thought the whole plan through very well. How is he supposed to spit and rinse?

More Summer Fun
Darien and his ever-present digger.
Darien loves to eat and play pretend. Here he combines both and secures himself a strawberry snack for later (in our bedroom by the window). It is always interesting coming across little treasures a 2-year-old leaves around the house.
Connor still loves to climb trees. He is getting braver and braver, Even his dad is telling him not to go so high now. I didn't dare look but at least in this picture he is at an acceptable height for my sanity.

Hayward Lake
After swimming lessons this past Wednesday we went right to the beach for a picnic and an afternoon of fun in the sun. It was a big success - no sunburns and no one got hurt.
Connor made friends right away. Him and two other kids dug a hole and kept busy by trying to keep it filled up with water. It took all three of them running back and forth full tilt with buckets of water to keep it full. But no matter what we do to tire these kids out during the day they don't want to stop at bedtime and are up way past the time they should be (for mommy's sanity).
And we can't go anywhere without the digger, especially the beach and all of that lovely sand. Darien likes to sit on the digger now - it must make him feel more official this way.
Darien made his own sand pool.
Connor told us he was a mummy in a coffin after he was all covered up with sand.
It was a great day!

Ashley's 9th Birthday Party
Ashley of course had a Hannah Montana Birthday cake, it was cupcakes. Very easy to serve.Hannah came along as soon as I put the cake in front of Ashley.
She never left the cake, we tried to contain her to one corner of the cake.
As you can see it didn't last for long.
Ashley opening one of her many presents.
We decided to give the girls Manicures and Pedicures, they really enjoyed it.
Especially Hannah. She had to have a turn or two at everything.
Petra's Grade 5 Graduation
A day at Canada's Wonderland
Hannah was quite please to meet Dora & Diego. She didn't want to leave and give other kids a turn.
This year Hannah has really enjoyed the rides. Last year she cried on the Merry-go-round, this year you can't get her off. Usually we end up going around a few times before we can convince her that the ride is done.
