Who wouldn't have a smile on their face at 6:30 AM with this haul? As you can see by the chipmunk look to his cheeks, Connor was already sampling the loot. You would have thought it was Christmas morning in our house if you had heard the shrieks of delight from Connor after finding eggs beside his bed. "It's true, it's true! He Came!"

After a small hunt inside the house, we headed to Whonnock Lake for a community Easter Hunt. We arrived early so had some time to go for a walk and play in the park.

As you can see, Jeremy still enjoys playing in the park as much as Connor does. Maybe when Darien gets older, his daddy or brother will let him have a turn.

But for now, Darien is content in the stroller.

Well, content until a big scary man with make-up on and dressed in a white rabbit suit invades his space.

Before the ready, set, go Jeremy is trying to help Connor find the one special metalic egg so he can get the special prize. It turned out that what Jeremy spotted was some garbage not the egg.

Chaos ensued but Connor did really well. It didn't matter to him that everyone would get the same amount of eggs in the end, he was collecting to win. Instead of the eggs being hidden in the forest, they had to find poker chips. Whether the kids found two or twenty the same amount of eggs were given to all.

I can see from this picture why my back is always sore.
More chocolate, yes that is always a reason to celebrate.
