Darien in the last month

Darien loves to play in his brother's room, whenever he is left to roam on his own upstairs that is where he heads. If Connor wants to play by himself and has the door closed we seen a fine display of Darien's temper. Playing with the wooden horse in Connor's room. He needs his first haircut!
Hates to wear hats, like every other baby I know.
And here he is wearing Connor's shirt. The love of getting dirty is something he shares with Connor. He is quite mobile and gets around the whole yard on his own.
He can't make the car go yet but can get in and out of it by himself.

Connor in the last month

What Connor has been up to in the last month: Go-karts with daddy at a friends birthday party in April. He has been asking to go back at least every 2 days - I think he is already an adrenaline junkie.
I think he may have liked the bumper cars more than the go-karts because he got to go in the by himself.
His goofy smile that he puts on for the camera. The weather has turned really nice here and we are outside at least a couple of hours a day - getting dirty and playing with the dog.
They both love the jeep, Connor keeps it on the slow speed when his brother is onboard. The helmet is for the faster speed, I can't keep up with it walking when he puts it in gear. Good thing it comes equipped with seatbelts.

We are still in a holding pattern for Connor's assessments but have three appointments lined up with various sections of the medical system. We will update when we have any news.

12 months old

A year gone! Darien had a quiet first birthday yesterday (May 22) but we are having a mini celebration with some friends and his nana this weekend. I have some blogging updates to catch up on - I'll get some more updated pictures on this weekend.
